Report with Contact Details (Students)

When you submit a named report, you'll receive direct support from our dedicated specialist team at NU London. Your case will be reviewed by our Report Response team and directed to the most appropriate specialist, which will be one of our colleagues within the team of Sexual Violence Liaison Officers (currently we have 7 dedicated staff members).

Our SVLOs are professionally trained to handle sensitive disclosures with care and confidentiality, with each specializing in trauma-informed support.

What to expect:

  • We'll contact you using your preferred method (email, phone, or video call)
  • You'll typically hear from us within two working days. Reports made out of office hours are likely to take longer and will be dealt with as matter of urgency on return to working hours.
  • Your assigned specialised advisor will listen to your concerns and discuss all available options and support pathways
  • If you choose to pursue formal reporting, procedural support and guidance can be provided to you by our team.

Throughout this process, your wellbeing is our priority, and you'll be supported at every step.

Anonymous Reporting (Students)

When you submit an anonymous report, your anonymity is guaranteed. However, as we are unable to see any details of the reporting party and we will not be able to make contact.  Those that choose to remain anonymous will have the option to enable two-way messaging by using the ‘unique code’ which is issued at the end of submission.

How we use your report

  • Report Response team shares anonymous reports with relevant departments for monitoring and identifying trends
  • Reports help us recognise patterns and systemic issues across campus
  • If multiple reports highlight similar concerns in specific areas, we'll work with those departments to implement improvements—even without identifying individual reporters

Taking action

  • Every report is carefully reviewed to determine if interventions can be made
  • Please specify the location/department where the incident occurred to help us address localised issues effectively
  • Information is shared only with relevant staff on a strict need-to-know basis
  • NU London will not disclose personal information except where required by our duty of care obligations

Your report, even when anonymous, helps us enhance support services and strengthen prevention efforts across the university community. Every report contributes to creating a safer campus for all.

Report with Contact Details (Staff)

Any report submitted under this category will be sent to the HR Director directly only.

For matters requiring formal investigation (such as potential disciplinary issues or grievances) will be handled by the Human Resources team. If the reporting party is seeking informal resolution requests, the HR Business Partnering team will provide support and guidance.

If there are any particular health or wellbeing concerns raised, these will be addressed collaboratively between HR and SVLO teams to ensure appropriate support is put in place.

HR team will also connect you with relevant NU London staff support services as needed, including Employee Assistance Program (Spectrum Life) and Pause Counselling Services.

If a report involves a student, HR team will coordinate with to ensure comprehensive, compassionate support for all parties

Anonymous Reporting (Staff)

Any report submitted under this category will also be sent to the HR Director directly only.

Anonymous reports are reviewed by the HR Team for monitoring and analysis. The HR leadership reviews the analytics and provides regular reporting to departments to identify trends and areas of concern. This data helps us proactively address systemic issues and improve our workplace culture.

While anonymous reports cannot trigger formal investigations, they provide valuable insights for prevention and policy development.

It is important to note that submitting a report does not automatically initiate formal proceedings. Should you wish to change your mind and come forward, you will receive support and guidance to help you understand your options and decide whether to pursue formal action.

All processes are conducted with fairness, confidentiality, and respect for all parties involved. To ensure proper oversight, the Director of Resourcing & Operations has access to all reports submitted through the platform.
